It will help me to know what lays in store for my 15-year-old daughter who just fractured her jaw, lost 1 tooth, and part of another in a tubing accident. We didn't discover the broken jaw until 2 weeks later during a dental visit. Her teeth weren't aligned, so the dentist did a panoramic x-ray which revealed she had broken her jaw in 2 place. I'm still not sure why it wasn't discovered on the cat scan done during the initial visit at the hospital. Thanks for posting this blog.
